For Tennant Creekers

 Tennant Creek is a township in the heart of the Northern Territory, and also in the hearts of the many people who have lived here, some with intentions of staying only for a short while, or those who have spent their lifetime here.  Memories are treasured by all Tennant-Creekers of friends made, families, places, events, happy times and tragedies and the desire is always with us to share, just to relive those precious past moments.

In 2008 Nadia Bates created “fortennantcreekers.com” a website consisting of  stories and images contributed by Tennant-Creekers to create a snapshot as it was in times past. Please enjoy these shared memories again, as I  recreate Nadia’s original content, and also continue to grow the site with the addition of the history of Tennant Creek and the Barkly region.
